In the beginning of each dictation you will hear A (first octave). Listen to the it’s resolution. According to that resolution you will know in which key a dictation is played.

It is your responsibility to determine the time signature.

 I .  Determine the key from A (first octave).

2.      Listen to the bass line and write it down.

3.      Label the chords according to the chart regardless of the quality (in the chart the quality is given for Major keys).

    The circle can be started several times in the same progression. You can skip any function in the circle except Tonic.

5.      In four part writing case write the Soprano line and complete inner voices.

      Double the bass in root and 64 positions. Do not double the bass in 6 position.
